How do I order photo cards for announcements and invitations? TOP

There are 3 easy steps to ordering photo cards for announcements and invitations:

1. Choose your favourite photo card announcement or invitation and complete the accompanying order form, including payment for the photo cards;
2. Email your picture(s) for your photo card announcement or invitation to amanda@ilivcards.com.
3. Work with me to perfect your photo card announcement or invitation and wait for the final product to arrive.

I like a particular photo card design but want different colours. Is that possible? TOP

All photo cards are fully adaptable. Whether that be changing the colour of the photo card or font or patterns on the photo card or changing the number of photo boxes and theme of the photo card to suit your occasion, photo and theme.

I have a particular design for a photo card in mind, but don't see it on your site. Could you do that for me? TOP

I am more than happy to design a photo card announcement or invitation from scratch with a particular theme or pattern etc.  I can send a first draft through and we can tweak it from there until you are 100% happy with the photo card.  Alternatively if you don't have a particular design in mind, but the ones on this site don't quiet suit I can design a new photo card for you.

I saw a photo card I like on another site, can you do that for me? TOP

Not only is copying a breach of copyright, but I am sure the designer put a lot of time and effort into designing that photo card.  If you would like it please purchase it from them.

I am in a hurry and need the photo cards ASAP how quickly can I get them? TOP

Photo Cards are mailed EXPRESS POST with in 5 business days of recieving payment and final approval of the announcement or invitation.  If you would like express processing and post there is an additional charge of $8.95 to cover costs.  This can be applied at the time of check-out.

I can't decide which photo to use on my photo cards, can I email a few through? TOP

Yes you can email a few through and let me choose for you.  If you decide after seeing the proof of your photo card announcement or invitation you would prefer to use a different picture I am happy to swap them over.

Do you do photo touch-ups for the photo cards? TOP

We touch up photos such as move some milk spots, drool or stains of t-shirts and can manipulate backgrounds a little and lighten or darken some photos that are under or over exposed, however I am not a professional photographer and this work is quite time consuming so don't expect miracles.

Is there a minimum quantity to order? TOP

To get free postage the minimum or is 20 cards.  If you would like less than that please select the postage purchase in the additional items section.

Can I use professional photos? TOP

I can not use professional photos that haven't got a photographers release for use in this manner as it is a breach of copyright.  If you have a release from your photographer then yes you can.  If not and they won't grant you one then email through some other photos for me to use.  I will work with them to give them a more professional look.  If you are looking to get professional photos done, ask the photographer before booking if they will provide a digital version of a couple of photos to be put into a photo card.

Will you convert the images to black and white or Sepia? TOP

Yes I will do all conversions and enhancements of photos for the cards.  If the image is already black and white that isn't a problem either.

I can't decide between two photo card designs. Can I see my picture on them both? TOP

I will do up to two initial photo card proofs with your photo and details.  Due to the time it takes to construct a proof, any additional card design viewings will be and additional $5.00 per photo card proof.  This includes seeing both a black and white and colour version of the photo card announcement or invitation.  So if you like two designs you can either see them with the one picture or pay the additioanl fee to see them with a colour or black and white version.  If you are unsure please contact me directly.

How many amendments can I make to the photo card proof? TOP

Unlike other design companies, I am happy to amend your photo card proof until you are 100% happy with the design of your photo card announcement or invitation.  This includes even if you decide to change your mind on colours etc of the photo card and then change your mind again.

What are your photo cards printed on? TOP

Photo cards are printed on Fuji Film Crystal Archive photo paper.  Fuji Film Crystal archive paper ensures that your colours and whites are brighter and criper and won't fade or yellow, making them an excellent keepsake for years to come.

What purchase options do you have for the photo cards? TOP

Photo card announcements can be either 6x4 and 7x5.  Currently I only do printing on photo paper.  You can also by flat or folded slotted card to attach your photo card announcement or invitation to.  Magnets are also available as is a personalised guest list on each photo card.  All these options will be available when ordering your photo card.

How do I pay for the photo cards? TOP

Payment methods for photo card invitations and announcements are via direct debit, paypal or cheque/money order.  Please remember if paying by cheque or money order that photo cards will not be sent to print until the funds have cleared.  Direct Debit is the preferred method of payment and I am happy to send the cards to print if a copy of the receipt or receipt number is emailed.

How long does it take to receive my proof. TOP

Proof of you photo cards are generally emailed out the same business day or within 24 hours of the order being received with subsequent proofs in the same or less time.  Occasionally, such as Christmas time there may be a 48 hour wait on proofs.  Remember to add amanda@ilivcards.com to your white list to ensure timely delivery of your proof.
